Joining us at TasteFest 2019? Fantastic! And its Free!

There’s heaps on – a week’s worth of events in a day – so plan ahead to make the most of your time.

Time: 10am to 9pm (official opening 9.45am)

Place: Queen Elizabeth Park (Main entrance Manning Street, Taree next to the  Exchange Hotel)

Entry:  FREE COMMUNITY EVENT (with a gold coin ‘donation’ to support local charities including ‘Manning Valley Push 4 Palliative’ and ‘Can Assist Manning Valley’)


With so many food & beverage options to choose from, be prepared to eat your way through the Manning Valley at TasteFest 2019!

Originally founded on agriculture, the Manning Valley is renowned for fresh local produce and is a foodie’s delight. From melt in your mouth organic beef from the hills of Wingham to the fresh seafood and oysters direct from our streams and oceans, there is something to suit any palate. TasteFest showcases some of the best the Manning has to offer. Come along and meet our 2019 exhibitors, and have a day of foodie indulgence!

Fine food and produce

The Manning Valley plays host to great local produce, beef and easy drinking wine. The region hosts numerous farmer’s markets over the weekends, where you’ll be able to pick up tasty mushrooms, juicy tomatoes, crunchy macadamias, the freshest eggs, sweet berries and other produce straight from the farm. TasteFest will showcase some of this wonderful produce so come along and try some of the Region’s finest food!

Live entertainment

The 2019 live entertainment program is a cracker with some great local talent. Come on down and enjoy the atmosphere by the Manning River from 10am through till 8:30pm:

Meal choices

From a Coffee starter onto Breakfast/Brunch to Lunch or Drinks and Afternoon snacks then pre-dinner drinks, nibbles before a summer evenings meal overlooking the water. So many choices and tastes to experience. Why not just graze your way through the day whilst experiencing the entertainment on the foreshore of the mighty Manning!

Families and kids

TasteFest 2019 has something for all the family including the tiny tots and the teens, and of course plenty of family and kid-friendly style yummy food.

The family entertainment includes ‘Fancy Face Painting’, ‘Passion4Laughter’ street performer, ‘Troppo Bob’ and his magic arts, ‘Sandwizzard,’ and a variety of rides, clowns, fairy floss/snow cones, an animal petting zoo..

The MIGHTY DUCK RACE will start at 5.00pm. The Race is also a fundraiser with the profits going to local projects and other Manning Lions causes. Ducks are $5 each and available from:
– Ray White Real Estate, Victoria St. Taree.
– GB & Partners, Victoria St. Taree.
– Valley Industries Cafe, Manning St. Taree.
– Taree Lions Club.

The owners of the first four ducks across the finish line will each receive $400.00. An additional $100.00 will be paid if the owner is present on the day. So be there or be square! Quack quack!

10:00 am Vendors open for business….get ready to taste your way along the paths of Queen Elizabeth Park. Watch the Kitchen Stage and enjoy the live entertainment all day.
1:30 pm The Mighty Duck Race commences.
9:00 pm Event closes
